and fringe on chaps,
Sage brush makes my spurs ring,
Magpie songs make my heart sing,
Daddy is right beside me whistling away.
As we trot out this foggy Autumn day,
Oh the birds are singin',
My spurs are ringin',
Yeah there is nothing quite the same,
As long-trotin' with your Daddy thru the rain."
